Medications
We're planning a year's trip to Australia, travelling around in a motorhome, followed by 3 or 4 months in New Zealand. I am a bit concerned about obtaining medication for the time that we are away. I take bloodpressure and anti-cholesterol tablets and aspirin daily. Obviously I can take a certain amount with me but not enough for the whole trip. Any information would be appreciated.

Have your Dr prescribe your meds with Generic names as well. Take a business card with the Dr Office fax # incase you must communicate.
As for your aspirin, it's OTC so you can stock up or get it easily enough in your travels.
Consider a Physical before your trip.

Ask your GP to prescribe as much as poss in advance and then give you a prescrption to take with you. If this is not possible then ask GP's advice
