Ski wear question?
I'm going skiing soon, and it's my first time back on the slopes in many years.
Is it true that my one piece ski suit is no longer fashionable (male) as I don't want to look a berk,or can i get away with it??

We went to Bulgaria in January and we didn't see any men wearing full ski suits, they were all wearing saloppettes (or other pants/jeans) and jackets.

We did see 1 woman wearing a one peice - neon pinks and Greens! ! she got a few funny looks!

It's true in North America at any rate. I can't remember the last time I saw anyone in a one piece snow suite and I've been skiing in Qubec, New York, and British Columbia in the last few years. On the other hand, I don't know how much anyone really cares what people wear on the slopes. However, you may want two pieces just for te convinience (i.e. going to the toilet).

Have fun!

Depends on where you're going. I've seen everything from pricey ski wear to jeans and parkas on the slopes.

Keep some nice jeans and a good looking (blue is always good) sweater for apres ski.
